The term "Structure" in insurance lingo, refers to home, business or dwelling. In the initial phases of an in insurance loss, the Carrier will use Its affiliation with local Contractors to define a scope of repair (steps necessary to rebuild or repair an Insured's home). Step Up Construction knows that the majority of the time these "Scopes of Repair" are not sufficient to properly repair a structure. This is a problem inherent in the Referral System put in place by the Insurance Carrier. If the Contractors who were referred to you by your Insurance Carrier chose to develop proper scopes of repair, they would quickly find themselves no longer being referred. Most of these Contractors are good or even great Contractors who are simply doing what it takes to survive in todays market. Step Up Construction is not referred by any Insurance Carrier. This puts us in a unique position and allows us to write an accurate and complete scope of repair without having to worry about where our next job is going to come from. YOU are our customer..
